"HonorBuddy claims to have over 200,000 registered users". I'm of course just speculating that there is a correlation between the decision to mass ban now and the court case between the two companies. My guess is that they have had the ability to detect it all along but chose to strike out now as a means to spit in the face of bossland (no one will be buying their bots) So blizzard lost a lawsuit to the owners of honorbuddy.
